The designs were inspired by John Tradescant, the 16th and 17th century collector and gardener, and by the fashion for cabinets of curiosity in Europe at that time. Featuring exotic and British birds and insects, antlers, feathers and complementary stripes and plains, the collection will bring a twist of British eccentricity to your interior, and any item of furniture covered with a Tradescant & Son print is destined to be a conversation piece and an heirloom.
All of our wallpaper and fabric designs are printed here in England, and we use 100% linen and British velvet. We support local manufacturing, and work with a number of British craftspeople and artisans on our finished products.
