The Fabric Collections
The Tradescant & Son range was inspired by the Lambeth collection of natural curiosities assembled by the 16th century Engish royal gardener and collector, John Tradescant. His collection was, uniquely for the time, open to the public, and its remains form the foundation of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford today. Our collection of printed linens is designed and printed in England onto a versatile linen cloth that is suitable for a wide range of upholstery and soft furnishing projects. We also offer a bespoke service with custom printing in any colour and onto the fabric of your choice. Please allow three weeks for delivery, as our fabrics, like all of our products, are printed to order. Occasionally we might have some in stock, and this will be indicated on the product page.
Plain Linens
We also supply our linens unprinted so that you can finish a room or design consistently and stylishly, with the same base fabrics and colours, or a complementary shade, such as pairing our charcoal print on natural linen with sooty charcoal linen.
